Guar Gum

Guar Gum is a galactomannan storage polysaccharide which is derived from the cluster bean, cyamopsis tetragonoloba. Guar gum is extracted from the seed of Cyamopsis tetragonoloba, an annual leguminous plant originating from India and Pakistan, also cultivated in the United States. The 'Guar' legume plant is extremely drought resistant and thrives in semiarid regions where most plants perish. It grows best in sandy soils, in areas of West, Northwest India and parts of Pakistan which are ideal for it's farming.
